The heat exchangers are also resistant against corrosion allowing for long term use of the shop air dryer. The variable fan speeds reduce power consumption when the unit is operating at about less than maximum cooling while still ensuring a constant dew point. With a built-in coalescing filter that separates water and oil from compressed air, you are getting consistently clean dry air. By constantly having a source of dry air you can mitigate the damage that will occur otherwise, such as paintwork peeling off or rust accumulating on any machinery.
